Comment on WPAS PrioritiesTell Us What Our Priorities Should BeJuly 3, 2006 Dear Washington Protection and Advocacy Stakeholders (WPAS) stakeholders: We would like to hear from you about WPAS Priorities. What issues related to disability rights do you care about most? On what do you think WPAS should be spending its time and money? What do you think about our emphasis on group advocacy? Is there anything else you think our planning committee should know? These are big questions and your answers are important to us! To help us with our priority setting, choose the one of the following two (2) ways that best meets your needs: 1. Send a letter or e-mail to the WPAS Planning Committee and say what you think WPAS needs to hear. To look at our current priorities, click here. 2. Use one of our forms to respond. There are four different forms, you can fill out one of them, more than one, or all four. Below are descriptions of the four forms - click on the description to view or download the form. When you have finished filling out the form, you can either: a. Print it out and mail
it to the address that is on the form; or
WPAS emphasizes "Group Advocacy." Do you agree or disagree with this emphasis? Describe and comment on any or all issues that are important to you. Select from a list the issues that are most important to you. Select from a list the abuse and neglect issues that are most important to you.
We hope to hear from you soon. If you respond by August 1, 2006 your comments will be considered for decisions to be made by December 13, 2006. If you respond after August 1, 2006 your comments will be considered as soon after December 14th as possible. Thanks for reading this. Sincerely,
