About Brain InjuriesThere are at least 5.3 million people in the United States living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). There is a lot of information on the internet that describes what can happen to a person who has a brain injury. Below are links to some of those web sites. Much of what you will find in these web sites will describe what happens to the brain when it is injured and different types of brain injuries. For web sites that focus on advocacy and how to get information about supports and services, check back soon when we will have a resource page for people with brain injuries and their families and friends.
